Plug welding was more challenging that I thought to be fair, I boldly told my mate that I was confident I could weld good steel to good steel and that I was worried about the good steel to rusty steel - but it didn't turn out that way to be frank. My trouble was that I purchased a hole punch to help me create the holes but the hole size was just too small and I have to open up the holes to get a good weld.
